I am currently a Deal Solution Manager, with 25 years of experience in data centre, private cloud and security infrastructures. I have also more than 3 years of experience in public cloud. I have a background in system administration, infrastructure and private cloud solution design.
I have a passion for translating customer functional and business requirements in commercial viable solutions and architecting, designing, documenting, costing, and presenting them. I thrive on finding solutions for technical IT and security challenges. I am eager to learn and apply new technologies every day.
I have succesfully led several data centre and cloud infrastructure design projects for both enterprise and government customers. I have also consultancy (advising), commercial, service management and product development experience and skills.
The FreeBSD operating system and open source software in general is my hobby. I own the SoCruel.NU domain an the internet. I design, implement, manage, monitor, use and secure the SoCruel.NU infrastructure and open source software that runs on it in my spare time. I have been doing this for more than 20 years.
I also love cooking on my BBQs, listening to U2 music and playing tabletennis.
